A look at the Airbus A350-900 (Corendon)

The Airbus A350-900 is the initial model of the A350 designed by Airbus, with a maximum takeoff weight (MTOW) of 275 tonnes.

With a maximum range of 15,000 km, it can accommodate up to 325 passengers. This version is 16% lighter, reduces fuel consumption by 30%, and has operating costs 25% lower than rival models such as the Boeing 777-200. It is designed to compete with the Boeing 777-200 and 787-8/-9/-10. In Airbus's lineup, this unit replaces the Airbus A340-300 and A340-500.

Airbus is in the process of creating an extended-range version, the Airbus A350-900R, which will include a reinforced structure and use the reinforced landing gear of the Airbus A350-1000. This allows the A350-900R to have a maximum takeoff weight (MTOW) of 308 tonnes and a maximum range of 16,500 km, 1,500 km more than the original version.
